IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
I realized how many busy Boulder professionals (and busy people in general) could benefit from quality private, customized in-home or in-office mindful movement and stress relief practices via:
Yoga
Pilates-based core work

Personal sessions offer customization, connection, and accountability. Knowing you have a session booked keeps you consistent. Yes, that’s totally a thing.
My decade plus of full-time teaching experience has allowed me to teach clients of every body type, many cultures, and all levels of experience. Yes, Yoga and Pilates can benefit you, and I can show you how.
A Bit of My Story: I’m Bria, a Boulder resident by way of New York City and Texas (Colorado natives, please don’t hate me for that ;-) ). Becoming an editor at Yoga Journal brought me to Boulder. And. . .Many moons ago, I moved to New York City to attend Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. After numerous post-graduation life twists and turns, I was feeling stressed, frazzled, and disconnected from myself and from life. Yuck! My gym workouts were no longer cutting it; it was time to go deeper. Yoga helped me find my way back to myself. I can still remember floating out of one of my first yoga classes on a cloud of bliss and connection. So yea, I became that girl who is into yoga. And my life has never been the same.
A few years passed. I was working in the corporate realm when I signed up for my favorite teacher’s yoga teacher training on a whim. Five weeks after finishing Yoga4Soul teacher training, I was downsized out of a lackluster corporate job. The Universe provided me the kick in the yoga pants I needed to launch into my new life. That was in 2008, and I have been teaching mindful movement ever since, including an 11-year stint of teaching in NYC full-time.
I have been leading retreats since the early stages of my career in beautiful places like the Caribbean, Vermont, Upstate New York, Telluride, Colorado, and rural Connecticut. Over the years, I have up-leveled my training (via YogaWorks, where I also taught weekly and on the teacher training faculty), plus added other modalities to the mix: Pilates, Reiki healing, guided meditation, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, trauma informed yoga, and more.
Off the mat, I love writing, cats, star gazing, dancing like nobody’s watching, hiking, cooking, daydreaming, travel, studying psychology, and dark chocolate. Self-compassion is an ongoing practice and time in nature heals me.
Well, enough about me. Reach out and let’s have a chat about you and your goals!
